I am in the process of reading a book I've heard a lot about and have finally secured my copy (temporary until I get my own) from the local library.  The book is called "See You At The Top" by Zig Ziglar.  I kind of feel like I am a decade (or 2) late in discover these and other success principles for my life.  It is funny because I consider myself to be a creative thinker and writer and many of my posts here are my own thoughts.  I am humbled when I learn that I am not the first to think some of these things and challenged because I see how much I really do not know.

As I continue my journey through "See You At The Top" I will include my notes here.  It will be helpful not only to others, (I hope) but mostly to myself. I have already learned that it is important to write your goals down and to define what your specific purpose is in your life.  Wheewh, this alone is such a challenge as I feel "called" to so many things.  "Help me Lord", is all I can say to myself.  I'm a happy pilgrim on this road. Perhaps you would like to come along for the ride.




Without the proper mindset you will not achieve success in your life, your marriage, your family, your business, your career or any other important areas.  These are fundamental truths we are talking about here, and while many will go through their lives as a "wandering generality" as Zig Ziglar so gracefully coined, I learned long ago that my life was to be a "meaningful specific".  Now I am on my way to find out what that is.
